Puneeth Rajkumar Gandhada Gudi’s teaser to release today

Bengaluru: Even as fans of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar are mourning over the loss unbearable, Gandhada Gudi starring the Power Star as he embarks on an adventurous journey is set to release on December 6. The documentary based on Karnataka is set to be Puneeth’s dream project and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will be releasing the teaser. It was initially decided that the teaser will be released on November 1.

It is learnt Dr Shivaraj Kumar has personally invited the chief minister for Gandhada Gudi’s teaser launch on December 6 which happens to be the birth anniversary of Appu’s mother, late Parvathamma. In the memory of the late actor who was loved across the country for his persona, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar tweeted “Appu’s epic dream project. A cinematic experience like never before. Title Teaser on 6th December in @PRKAudio’’.

It is said that Gandhada Gubi is reportedly a collaboration between Puneeth Rajkumar and wildlife photographer and filmmaker Amoghavarsha.

67th Filmfare Awards South

Kamar Film Factory & Film Fare have joined hands to organise the 67th Filmfare Awards South in Bengaluru. Tara Anuradha and Pooja Hegde were chief guests at a function held to announce the programme on Sunday. Kamar, the son of wellknown film distributor K Nargis Babu, of Kamar Film Factory has said that he preferred Ben galuru to organise the function despite pressure to opt for either Chennai or Hyderabad. “I am confident of making the award function a grand success,’’ said Kamar.

Speaking on the occasion, Pooja Hegde, who earned name and fame for her performance in Telugu movies such as Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo and Most Eligible Bachelor, has expressed her willingness to act in Kannada movies provided if directors come forward with convincing script.
