
Shopkeeper beaten black and blue for seeking payment of items sold

Bengaluru: A young shopkeeper was allegedly beaten up black and blue for asking for money from a person who bought a cigarette from him. The incident reportedly took place on Thursday night near Kundalahalli Gate in the city. As per the complaint filed by the victim, a group of men approached his shop and asked for cigarettes.
However, after getting their items, the group engaged in long chats without seeming to pay the shopkeeper his dues. When the shopkeeper asked for money, the group allegedly began abusing him. When the victim raised an objection, they started assaulting him and other boys who came to his rescue.
Following the incident, the victim approached the HAL police station and filed a complaint against the accused people.The police have procured the CCTV footage of the incident and are currently trying to identify the accused. An investigation is underway
