Italian cuisine is definitely one of the most loved across the globe. Known for its delicious and iconic dishes, it has become a favourite also for countless Indians. In order to celebrate and promote the excellence not only of its food and wine tradition, but also of the Italian agri-food chain as whole, the Italian Government launched in 2016 the World Week of Italian Cuisine (WWIC).

The theme of the 7th edition of the WWIC is “Conviviality, Innovation and Sustainability: the ingredients of Italian cuisine for the health of individuals and the protection of the planet”. In order to bring a taste of true Italian food to Bengaluru, for the first ever Week of Italian Cuisine to be held in the Karnataka capital, the newly established Consulate General of Italy in Bengaluru has joined forces with Kempegowda International airport by bringing down Michelin-starred chef Adriano Baldassarre who earned a Michelin star with his Tordomatto restaurant since 2007.

There will be an event at Quad at the airport on December 10 where chef Adriano will delight guests with his signature dishes and for the rest of the week special dishes curated by him will be served at multiple outlets across their airport. There will also be a live music performance by Best Kept Secret.
