Ravi Teja’s energy impresses Kavya Thapar

Actress Kavya Thapar has hit the big league in Tollywood bagging a film with Telugu star Ravi Teja and director Karthik Gattamaneni. Kavya Thapar received the offer to work in the Telugu film starring Ravi Teja while she was in Mumbai shooting for another Telugu film. Director Karthik Ghattamaneni flew to Mumbai to narrate the script to her and it was in no time that Kavya got on board.

“I actually signed the film while I was on the sets of the Vi Anand directorial Ooru Peru Bhairavakona,” says Kavya. “That felt a bit surreal — I don’t think it happens often that you get on board a film while working on another.” Kavya is all excited to work with Ravi Teja.

“I have heard that Ravi Teja is full of energy, and I experienced it when I met him for a look test,” she said. The actress flew to Poland for the shooting of the new film this week. Kavya Thapar will be seen alongside Sundeep Kishan in another Telugu film, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. She also has a Tamil film with Vijay Anthony and a Netflix series, CAT, alongside Randeep Hooda.

She is also part of the Amazon Prime series created by Raj and DK, the duo behind the critically-acclaimed series The Family Man. Kavya made her Bollywood debut in Middle-Class Love, a film produced by Anubhav and ZEE Studio.
