That sinking feeling again

Bengaluru: A truck carrying construction materials proved to be a load too far for the poorly built in Somasundarapalya under Bommanahalli constituency. According to sources, a part of the road caved in as the truck was making its way up to the HSR Layout.

A viral video on social media showed the truck stuck, with its rear wheels ending up caught inside the collapsed asphalt. A Beng alur u-based activist, Kavitha Reddy, shared the video of the incident and tagged Bommanahalli MLA Satish Reddy questioning the quality of the road work done.

“This is 40% Commission Road in HSR/Somasundrapalya of Bommanahalli Constituency! Any response from Corrupt BJP MLA @msrbommanahalli?” Kavitha Reddy’s post read.

Following the post, comments started pouring in from the netizens and activists criticising the administration and alleging shoddy work done by them under the pretext of development.
