Cong takes swipe at BJP for nomination of 2 rowdy-sheeters

Bengaluru: Even before the “rowdy politics” controversy in the state has cooled down, the government has is suedan order nominating two rowdysheeters as members of the Municipal Corporation.

Pradeep Kumar and Arun Kumar from Borabai Nagar, who are infamous as 'Seven Star' in the rowdy world, have been nominated. In this regard, Raju P, secretary to the government of Urban Development Department (Metropolitan Corporation-2) has issued an order.

Although Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said, "No rowdies will be allowed in the BJP," the nomination of Kalaburagi Corporation has come as a surprise. Congress has lashed out towards the move and tweeted, "BJP rule is the "harvest season" for rowdies!

"Rowdism" is a qualification to get a post in @BJP4Karnataka Govt. After Anekal Municipal Corporation, the government has nominated two rowdysheeters in Kalburgi Corporation. Is this @BJP4Karnataka preparing candidates forits rowdy morcha?"
