Youth stabbed to death by unidentified assailants

Bengaluru: A youth died after being attacked by a group of unidentified assailants in Balaji Layout of Hegde Nagar in the city. The deceased was identified as Salman, 19, a resident of Hegde Nagar.

As per the sources, he used to assist his father at his furniture shop in the same area. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday around 11 pm when Salman was walking towards his house after closing the shop.

A group of unidentified men surrounded him and allegedly attacked him with a knife. Following the attack, a severely injured Salman was rushed to a hospital , where he was declared dead. A case has been registered at Sampigehalli police station regarding the incident and the cops are scanning CCTV cameras around the spot to identify the accused in the case.
