
Man attacks friend with a knife at booze party

Bengaluru: A person suffered severe cut on his face after his friend allegedly attacked him with a knife over a petty issue in the Peenya police station limits during a booze party here.
Prashanth A, 30, a resident of Peenya 4th block, was invited by his friend, also identified as Prashanth, 32, to celebrate New Year on Saturday night. However, after drinking until 1 am, the duo got involved in an argument over a trivial issue.
As the argument took a violent turn, the accused took a knife from his kitchen and attacked his friend. During the scuffle, Prashanth A suffered cut injuries on his face and was rushed to a hospital by another friend while the accused fled the spot. A case has been registered by the Peenya police in the incident. The accused was later nabbed. He is currently being interrogated, according to the police.
