City reports 16 Covid cases

Bengaluru: Bengaluru recorded 16 Covid-19 cases on January 2, taking the city’s active caseload to 245, according to the BBMP’s official bulletin released Monday.

The day’s test positivity rate stood at 0.61 percent. No deaths were reported. A total of 1,290 tests were conducted on the day.

As many as 42 people recovered, and over 253 citizens took the precautionary dose
