Bengaluru: Two days after Pradeep, a businessman in the city allegedly shot himself to death in his car near Nittegere, the investigative team of police said that they have retrieved three copies of the suicide note that Pradeep had placed at different places before killing himself.

The Kaggalipura police who are currently trying to connect the dots said that Pradeep was suffering from mental depression after the lenders started demanding money from him. On Saturday, he had taken his family to a resort near Ramnagar to celebrate New Year. However, he left his family at the resort on Sunday and returned to his house in Bellandur.

Deciding to end his life, he wrote an eight-page note and made three copies. According to the police, Pradeep left one of the copies inside a wardrobe where his wife, Namitha, would easily find it after his death. Carrying the other two copies with him, he returned to the resort and hid one in one of his relatives’ cars.

The last copy of the note was found near his body, along with a copy of his bank statement. Investigation so far has revealed that Pradeep, returning from the resort around 4 pm, intentionally overtook his relative’s car and parked his vehicle a few kilometres further before killing himself with his licenced gun.

Seeing Pradeep’s car parked perpendicularly on the road, the relatives stopped their car and were horrified to find his body inside. “With all this, one thing is clear that he wanted the cause of his death to be known,” an officer from the police station said.
