Bengaluru: Police have formed two teams to nab a Nepali couple who allegedly stole valuables worth Rs 35 lakh from their employer's house in the city. Naresh, a resident of Sharadamma Nagar of Jalahalli, is a jewellery businessman who owns a store in Sanjay Nagar police station limits here.

According to his complaint to the police, he hired a Nepal-based couple to help with the household and security. It was revealed that Naresh and his family had gone to Madikeri on December 28 to celebrate the New Year.

However, when they returned on January 1, they found a window of the house broken and valuables, including jewellery from the home missing. Noticing the couple's absence, Naresh filed a case against them with the Jalahalli police. A probe is underway to track the couple.
