Prakash Ambedkar calls on JD(S) first family

Ambedkar heads the political party Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh

Bengaluru: The grandson of the chairman of the drafting committee of the Indian constitution, and former MP Prakash Ambedkar paid a visit to the former Prime Minister HD Devegowda.

He also met with former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy and Chamundeshwari MLA GT Devegowda, another JD(S) heavyweight. Ambedkar felicitated Devegowda on his visit. Ambedkar heads the political party Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM) and has served as the MP from Akola constituency in Maharashtra.

He is known for Ambedkarite politics and has staged demonstrations on atrocities against Dalits such as the Rohith Vemula suicide case and the attack on the Bhima Koregaon rally.
