
Children blame mother for their father’s killing

Bengaluru: Six months after the alleged murder of a man his children who were said to have wit nesse d the crime blamed their mother for the ghastly killing of their father.
The man had passed out in a drunken state. The children of the victim have come out with shocking details of the crime. The children h ave claimed that they witnessed their father’s murder. They have alleged that their mother perpetuated the crime.
The man in question, Anjaneya (35) was found murdered six months ago in Sanjay Gandhinagar slum, which falls under the jurisdiction of Nandini Layout Police Station. The police were investigating the case while the wife of the victim, Anita (31), had informed her relatives that Anjaneya had died of a heart attack. Believing her words, the family had carried out the funeral rites of the victim.
However, recently Anita eloped with Rakesh in the wake of an illicit affair with him. The children have now told their grandmother that the murder of their father was perpetuated by their mother.
They alleged that Anjaneya, who was sleeping in an inebriated state, was choked to death by Anita and Rakesh. Upon hearing about the matter from her grandchildren, she filed a complaint at the Nandini Layout Police Station. The accused Anita and Rakesh have been arrested by the police.
