Water adalat to address consumer grievances coming up

Bengaluru: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewera g e Board (BWSSB) will hold 'Water Adalat' on January 12 in different parts of the city from 9:30 am to 11 am to settle grievances related to billing, delay in supply, sanitary connections and delay in conversion of domestic connections.
According to a notification shared by the BWSSB, Water Adalat will be held at sub divisions including North-2-1, South-1-1, South-2-1, SouthWest-1, South-West- 4, East-1-2, East-2-2, and South-East- 2, SouthEast-5, West-1-2 and West-2-2 sub-divisions.
The public can register complaints, grievances connected to water billing, delay in giving water supply and sanitary connection, delay in conversion from non-domestic to domestic connection and other related issues by calling the board's 24x7 complaint handling helpline number 1916. Complaints can also be submitted through WhatsApp number 8762228888, Public Relations Officer of Bengaluru Water Board said in the announcement.
The disputes of customers will be heard and settled at the stations located at Yelahanka Old Town, Yelahanka New Town, Attur, JP Nagar-2, Kothanur Dinne, Vijaya Bank Colony, Arakere & Mico Layout, JP Nagar – 1 & 3 phases, Jayanagar 4th T Block, Jayanagar 4th Block, Hombegowdanagar, Bairasandra, Chikka Lalbagh, Bannappa Park, Sudhamanag ar-1, Katriguppe, Hoskerehalli, Devagiri-1, Ittamadu, Banagirinagar and A Narayanpura. Doddanekundi, Vijayanagar, Banaswadi, OMBR, Lingarajapuram, Kasthurinagar, Halasur, Domlur, Marathahalli, Koramangala- 1 & 2 phase, Vijayanagar OHT, Mudalapalya, Nagarabavi, Annapurneswarinagar, Sir MV Layout service stations.
The public can register complaints by calling the board's 24x7 complaint handling centre helpline 1916 regarding power shortages. The complaints can be submitted through WhatsApp number 8762228888, Public Relations Officer of Bangalore Water Board said in the announcement.
