Six IPS officers transferred

Bengaluru: The state government has transferred six IPS officers across the state with immediate effect. As per the notification issued on Thursday, YS Ravi Kumar, who was serving as Deputy Inspector General & Commissioner of Police, Kalaburagi city has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement in the existing vacancy.

Dr Divya V Gopinath, Superintendent of Police, waiting for posting has been posted as Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru in the downgraded post until further orders. While Chetan R, serving as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence has been transferred as Commissioner of Police, Kalaburagi City in the downgraded post.

Hanumantharaya, Superintendent of Police, Haveri District, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence. Narayana M, Superintendent of Police, Intelligence has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Kolar district.

And lastly, Dr Shivakumar, Superintendent of Police, Intelligence has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Haveri until further notice.
