Trial run of electric buses conducted

Bengaluru: Trial run for the EV (Electric Vehicle) Power plus Bus took place from Bangalore to Ramanagar and back on Friday ahead of the launch of operations slated to start next week.

Commercial operations are set to begin on Monday between Mysore and Bangalore. The fare of the EV Power plus Bus is Rs30 less than the Airavat Club Class. Another 49 buses will be added to the fleet by February 2023.

The other routes planned for these buses are Bengaluru to Davangere, Bengaluru to Shivamogga, Bengaluru to Chikkamagaluru, Bengaluru to Madikeri and Bengaluru to Virajpet
