BMRCL, ITPL to jointly build walkway

Bengaluru: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and the Information Technology Park Limited (ITPL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday.

ITPL has asked the BMRCL to provide a direct concourse level from the Pattandur Agrahara Metro Station to ITPL through a connection of a walkway. This facility will enable 55 thousand employees to get to work directly without crossing the road as their office can now be accessed directly from the Metro station. This is the first such agreement with respect to the Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield Metro line.

The designs for the construction have been approved by the BMCRL and the construction will be carried out by ITPL.
