Auto driver arrested for killing brother-in-law

Bengaluru: An autorickshaw driver has been arrested for allegedly killing his brotherin-law with a machete in Vishweshwaraya Layout near Kengeri NICE Road. The arrested is identified by the police as Venkatesh, 32, a resident of Kengeri. The deceased is Satish.

According to police sources, Satish was harassing the accused person's sister which enraged him. On Monday, Venkatesh called Satish on the pretext of having a conversation and took him to an isolated area near the NICE Road. As the duo got into a fight, Venkatesh took a machete from his autorickshaw and slashed Satish with it, which led to his death.
