Squadrone is the first company to fly autonomous drones in underground mines in India

Bengaluru: Squadrone, is at present one of the most progressive companies of aerial intelligence in mining and infrastructure. They came off as the first company to fly autonomous drones in underground mines in India.

After clearing the Proof of Concept (POC) at Hindustan Zinc Limited (Vedanta), the project was deemed successful as it opened the doors for the application of dronebased Hover map LiDAR Technology, which promises to bri ng a major transformation in terms of how an underground mine is worked in India.

Squadrone partnered with Emesent Australia in order to drive the SLAM technology in the underground mines of India and the Middle East.

Hover map is a dronebased LiDAR sensor that operates on the latest version of SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technology; it enables features like providing high-quality data for sa fety, subsidence mappi ng, desig n, a nd mine planning followed by advanced analytics.  They also partnered with Strayos Inc, USA for the application.

The cloud-based software company implemented Al and ML; specialized applications of drones in the digital space, to commence operation and control large open pit mines. The Cloud-based software company hailing from the United States implements Al and MLbased innovative operations. Squadrone is the first company to fly autonomous drones in Underground mines in India.
