Why are all BJP ministers not ready to defend govt?

Bengaluru: Jan. 26: The stoic silence of several ministers in the BJP government to the accusations by the opposition Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) has come as a big worry for the party with Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Minor Irrigation Minister J.C.Madhuswamy wondering why these leaders have not been responding to the opposition allegations.

Addressing the Jan Sankalp Yatra in his taluk, Madhuswamy said that except for Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Health and Medical Education Minister Dr K.Sudhakar and BJP National General Secretary C.T. Ravi, none of the other ministers or state leaders have reacted to the allegations. The BJP top brass has time and again given instructions to state leaders to reply to the charges of Congress and JD(S) leaders, and to strengthen the IT cell but it has not happened so far.

Congress General Secretary and Incharge of Karnataka Affairs Randeep Singh Surjewala has been staying in Bengaluru for the last two to three months, and had been attacking the BJP on a daily basis. Along with him Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah, KPCC President D.K.Shivakumar and MLA Priyank Kharge are sparing no effort to slam the state government.

But it seems Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is fighting a lone battle in defending his government with no support from any of his minesterial colleagues.
