Bengaluru: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Marasandra Muniyappa celebrated his 63rd birthday with several of his party colleagues in Anekal on Friday.

BSP State Secretary and the party’s Anekal candidate Chinappa Y Chikkahagade heaped praise on Muniyappa for serving BSP faithfully for over four decades and following the principles of the party founder Kanshi Ram. Chikkahagade added that Muniyappa had worked tirelessly for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and Scheduled Castes (SCs).

He said that there was an opportunity for the BSP to grow because people were fed up with Congress, BJP, and JD(S). Currently, BSP leader N Mahesh is the MLA from Chamarajanagar district’s Kollegal constituency, which is reserved for SCs
