KSRTC starts Bengaluru - Vijayawada 'Airavat' bus service

Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has begun Airavat Club Class service on Bengaluru to Vijayawada route on Fridays and Saturdays, for the convenience of the public, a transport corporation notification said here on Monday.

The buses will commence their journey from Shanthinagar bus station via Silk board, Iblur Junction, Marathahalli, ITI gate, KR Puram, Hosakote, Tirupathi, Nellore, and reach Guntur.

The tickets will cost Rs 1,420 from Bengaluru and Rs 1,310 from Vijayawada, the KSRTC said. The buses from the city will depart at 7:30 pm from Shantinagar bus station and are expected to reach Vijayawada at 8 am.

For the return journey, the departure time for the bus is 7:30 pm from Vijayawada while it is expected to reach Bengaluru at 8:30 am
