Pre-poll shake-up: 13 city IPS officers transferred

Bengaluru: In a fresh shake-up in the police department ahead of the coming assembly elections, 13 IPS officers have been transferred across various districts of Karnataka with immediate effect.

Karthik Reddy, Superintendent of Police, Wireless, Bengaluru is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Ramanagaram to replace K Santosh Babu, who in turn is transferred and posted until further orders as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence.

Patil Vinayak Vasantrao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Division, Bengaluru, is transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, General, Bengaluru vice Padmini Sahoo, who is transferred and posted until further orders as Superintendent of Police, Chamarajanagar.

TP Shivakumar, Superintendent of Police, Chamarajanagar is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Karnataka Power Transmission corporation Ltd. D Devaraja, waiting for posting is posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Division, Bengaluru City vice Patil Vinayak Vasantrao.

Siri Gowri, waiting for posting is posted as Superintendent of Police, Internal Security Division in the vacant post. Shekhar H Tekkannavar, Superintendent of Police & Principal Police, Training School, Mysuru is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, Belagavi City. Pradeep Gunti, waiting for posting is posted with immediate effect and as Superintendent of Police, Prisons in the vacant post.

Geetha MS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime & Traffic, Mysuru City, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police & Principal Police, Training School, Mysuru. K Ramarajan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Command Centre, Bengaluru, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Kodagu, Madikeri.

Ravindra Kashinath Gadadi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, Belagavi City, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Command Centre, Bengaluru City. Aiyappa. MA, Superintendent of Police, Kodagu, Madikeri is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence.
