Victory Venkatesh’s 75th film has Tollywood abuzz

Tollywood star Victory Venkatesh’s 75th film Saindhav is in the news for all the right reasons. For starters, the landmark film for Venkatesh could not have got a better start. He is collaborating with director Sailesh Kolanu for the first time.
The film was announced last week and immediately managed to create a buzz around it. The teaser and poster of the film made it clear that the film is action-packed. Fans have deduced that the film is set in a fictional place called Chandraprastha which is a harbour town.
This will also be the first film of Venkatesh to be dubbed in multiple languages for a panIndia release. Bankrolling the project is Venkat Boyanapalli, who made Shyam Singha Roy earlier. Director Sailesh also announced that Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be making his Telugu debut with Saindhav.
Meanwhile Venkatesh himself is set to return to Bollywood after nearly 30 years. The teaser of Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which also released last week had a glimpse of Venkatesh. The teaser was launched alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan in theatres. Venkatesh had acted in the Hindi film Anari in 1993 with Karishma Kapoor. It went on to become a huge success.
Venkatesh however acted in only one more Hindi film; Taqdeerwala in 1995. His appearance in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan, which is slated for release on April 21. Venkatesh was last seen in the Telugu hit F3: Fun and Frustration in 2022. He had two remake films; Narappa and Drushyam 2 before that and both of them were released directly on OTT platforms.
