Bengaluru: India Meteorological Department (IMD) disclosed that Bengaluru was experiencing mild weather due to a severe depression in the Bay of Bengal. The temperate climate is likely to be accompanied by fog and cloudy weather, as it did on Friday.
IMD added that, alongside other districts, Bengaluru (Urban and Rural) may experience light rain. The districts that are most likely to receive rain are Chamarajanagara, Mysuru, Mandya and Ramanagara. IMD said that the depression would also cause cold wave conditions in some parts of the state.
“A severe depression is located in the Bay of Bengal. Cloudy weather is likely to prevail in the south-interior parts of the state, which includes Bengaluru. Cold wave conditions will prevail due to fog in some places”, IMD scientist A Prasad said.
