Will emulate KCR’s schemes in State, says HDK

Raichur: J D(S) legislature party leader HD Kumaraswamy on Friday hinted that he would draw inspiration from schemes implemented by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
He laid emphasis on Telang ana’s ‘Mission Bhageeratha’, which had stated the goal of solving the neighbouring state’s drinking water problem. He insisted that both Congress and the BJP failed Karnataka.
“The region has always faced a severe water crisis and no government has been able to solve it. Our State borders Telangana. Just look at their ‘Mission Bhageeratha’ project. It ensured water supply to every household in Telangana.
Similar projects will be implemented here, if the JD(S) comes to power. Telangana’s Kaleshwaram project should be studied by all politicians in the nation,” Kumaraswamy said. The former chief minister had skipped the Bhartiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) meeting held in Telangana’s Khammam in January.
Thereafter, it was speculated that a rift had developed between Kumaraswamy and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. Kumaraswamy, however, insisted that nothing like that has happened. The JD(S) Pancharatna Rath Yatra toured parts of Raichur district on Friday
