KSRTC penalises ticketless passengers Ex-CJ, Madras HC Justice K A Swami dies

Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) penalised 3,682 ticket less passengers in the month of January this year and collected a sum of Rs 5,83,396 as fine from them. \

This finding came up in the course of the review of the corporation’s operations across the state. According to the KSRTC, in all functioning of the 46,047 buses were scrutinised. Over 3,269 cases of pilferage were detected.
