Bengaluru: The Bommanahalli police have detained three persons including a juvenile over suspicion of plotting to murder BJP leader Satish Reddy in the city. According to sources, the action was taken based on a complaint filed by one of Reddy's personal assistants.

The complaint alleged that the three suspects had been moving suspiciously near the leader's residence and office premises for the past 15 days. The police who initially had filed an NCR in connection with the matter later sought permission from the court and registered an FIR against the suspects identified as Wilson Garden Naga, and Akash, a native of Hoalkere in Chitradurga district, along with a minor. Police are currently interrogating the suspects.

Speaking to the reporters about the incident on Wednesday, Satish Reddy said that the police are investigating the case. However, he denied getting any threatening calls.
