Homemaker commits suicide

Bengaluru: A 26-year-old homemaker allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at her house in KR Puram Police Station limits on Monday night. The deceased was identified by the police as Sai Suma, wife of Vedanth Kumar, a resident of 3rd cross Manjunatha Layout here.

The couple has a one-year-old son. Vedanth had been running a Pani Puri shop in the area and was debt-ridden due to which the two were often found fighting with each other.
