"India's definition as per the National Youth Policy, which once was set at 15- 35 and then recently 15-29 years, we have roughly about 808 Million people here within this age group, comprising totally 66 per cent of our population according to the International Labour Organisation," he said.
Out of the 808 million, roughly 250 Million are Indian students studying in India and about 13,24,954 million are studying abroad. Dhruv Jatti further said that during the pandemic about 200 million students’ education was affected, and about a million of them dropped out of schooling.
"There is a huge problem in terms of what we are doing and what we should be doing especially when the majority of our population in the rural spaces are practitioners of agriculture, " he said.
