Shadows of time delves into political violence, and resistance

Bengaluru: Famous South Korean choreographer Hobin Park will be performing ‘Shadows in Time’ alongside Daniela Valente from Italy performing ‘Re start’, Jayachandran Palazhy performing ‘Skimming over’, Minal Prabhu and Nellai Manikandan from India performing Bharatnanatyam and Tevarattam Silambham, respectively. 'Shadows of Time' will be previewed at the Bangalore International Centre (BIC) today from 7.30 p m onwards.

The event is the med on the establishment of political violence which creates disharmony in the society. The presentation will largely focus on the unifying power of experience of historical pain and the power of resistance, igniting absence of loss and the need to conceal our disillusionment with blocks of power.

The dance mosaic is supported by Inko Centre Chennai and the costume is designed by Kim Eunyoung, music is directed by Gaesaffelstein, Marcel Zees, it is choreographed and performed by Hobin Park. Inspirations are drawn from the military coup and subsequent civil unrest in Myanmar and armed conflict in Ukraine.
