Ex-cop found dead at Majestic bus terminus

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, officials of Karnataka State Road Transport Cor poration (KSRTC) found a dead body of a former cop at the Majestic bus station premises on Tuesday morning.

On being informed about the incident, the Upparpet police reached the spot and conducted an investigation. The deceased was identified as Muni Anjaneya, a retired subinspector and a resident of Doddaballapura.

Anjaneya had left his house around 2 am on Monday saying that he is going to Dharmasthala along with his friends. However, as he was waiting for his friends to join him at the bus station, he collapsed on a bench and died, according to the police. The exact cause of death could not be ascertained.
