Mysuru residents sweat as vehicle theft incidents on the up

Mysuru: Lately, there have been many vehicle-theft incidents in Mysuru, which has rendered its residents a concerned lot.

Those who leave their vehicles outside at night worry for their safety now. In a fresh incident, a resident of Bada Makan in Mysuru, approached the Narasimharaja Police Station after he lost his scooter during the night.

In his statement to the police, Bakthiyar Ahmed, stated that he parked his orange-hued Honda Dio outside his house near a water tank around 9 pm on March 2.

The next morning, he found the scooter missing from the spot. Based on the complaint, the jurisdictional police registered an FIR against unidentified miscreants and an investigation is underway
