Airhostess death case: Boyfriend confesses to murder

Bengaluru: Days after a complaint was filed alleging that the death of an airhostess in the city was not a case of suicide, sources from the city police on Friday said that the woman's boyfriend has confessed to have pushed her from the balcony of a flat and killed her.
Adesh, a native of Kasargod, confessed he murdered his girlfriend, Archana Dhiman, 28, a native of HP. Adesh was an employee of a private IT company in Bengaluru, while Archana was an employee of an international airline in Dubai and also a model.
As per reports, the two met through a dating site and developed friendship in about six months. Later, they both had planned to marry each other. Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-East Division, CK Baba said that Adesh has given a statement to the police that Archana had threatened to take legal action alleging sexual abuse if he doesn't marry her.
On the day of the incident, Archana repeated this and Adesh pushed her from the balcony of the apartment. Earlier, Adesh had stated that Archana had slipped from the balcony. She was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared 'brought dead.'
Archana's mother had earlier complained that her daughter had been murdered. In her complaint, the mother had said that Archana was killed by Adesh. Archana was found dead at midnight on Friday. The police had initially registered a suicide case, but changed it to murder following a complaint by Archana's mother.
