
Danish Trust extends assistance to needy with scholarships

Bengaluru: Danish Education Trust has provided scholarships amounting to Rs 1,20,85,000 to 503 students pursuing professional education across Karnataka.
Danish Education Trust (R) was set up by a group of concerned citizens in the field of education, led by philanthropist Husna Sheriff in March 2006. Every year the Trust disburses scholarships for poor and needy students, not only pursuing engineering and medicine, but also in the field of law, journalism, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, veterinary sciences, agriculture sciences, education (BEd) and civil services.
This year, 2022-23, Danish Educational Trust is supporting 503 students across Karnataka with a total scholarship amount of Rs 1,20,85,000. The Trust believes in empowering young minds by giving scholarships which will help them get muchneeded support for higher education.
More than 3,500 scholars who were aided by the Danish Education Trust are spread across the world and are contributing to the nation through their profession and also making the world a better place, according to the Trust
