
Traffic advisory over visit of Amit Shah

Bengaluru: Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the city on Friday to take part in several events linked to the police department and the co-operative sector.
Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has imposed restrictions on the traffic flow between 12 pm and 4 pm on Old Airport Road, Mysuru Road, NR Road, Nrupathunga Road, Sheshadri Road, Palace Road, Race Course Road, and Kengeri to Kommaghatta Road in the city.
Apart from this, the movement of light, medium and heavy goods transport vehicles is restricted between 6 am and 4 pm from Town Hall to NR Road, and towards Mysuru Road; from Nayandahalli towards the city and towards Kengeri; and Kumbalagodu to Kengeri (towards the city). Goods vehicles have been advised to use Lalbagh Road-Hosur RoadNice Road, instead of the NR Road to head to Mysuru Road.
Goods vehicles moving towards the city from Nayandahalli junction can use Nagarabhavi and Sumanahalli Ring Road. Goods vehicles moving towards the city from Kumbalgodu and Kengeri can take the Nice Road, according to the traffic advisory
