Will consider suing Ravi, says Shivakumar

Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar on Sunday disclosed that he would explore legal options, including filing a defamation case against BJP general secretary CT Ravi for suggesting that he and his brother DK Suresh were involved in the Mangaluru cooker blast.

However, Shivakumar insisted that Ravi was lashing out because he had lost his mental balance over BJP’s impending defeat in the upcoming Assembly elections. “CT Ravi fears defeat. So he has developed a medical problem. I would like to tell the chief minister and their party leaders that he has lost his mental balance because they are losing,” he said.

“I will look at all the legal aspects, but the first remedy is to get him admitted to a mental hospital, which we should all help him with,” Shivakumar added.
