Guard’s murder: Daughter, boyfriend arrested

Bengaluru: North East division have solved the murder of a 46-year-old security guard that happened last month and arrested his daughter and her boyfriend. The police have also filed a FIR against the deceased based on the statements made by his daughter.

The daughter’s boyfriend has also booked for rape and Pocso for impregnating the guard’s minor daughter. The security guard was brutally murdered right in front of his two daughters at their house in the last week of November.

While the police were recording the statement of the victim’s 17-year-old daughter, they found that she was aware of the accused. After she was subjected to detailed questioning, she said that she got her father killed with the help of his boyfriend and his associates.

The girl told police that she was the victim of sexual assault by her father. Based on this statement, the police have registered an FIR against the deceased under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and also Pocso.

The police then subjected the victim to medical examination and found out that she was pregnant. When she was questioned again, she revealed her relationship with her boyfriend. Since she was a minor, the boyfriend has been booked for rape and Pocso along with the murder charge.
