Monkey pays last respects to the man who fed it daily

A monkey paid its last respects to an aged man who used to feed it bananas every day, in a heart-warming incident in Ballari. Parashuram Shah (88) had developed a bond with the monkey over the last two months by feeding it bananas. However, on Ramanavami day, just a day after his 88th birthday, Parashuram passed away at Hale Hagaribommanahalli in Vijayanagar district.

While his mortal remains were kept in state for relatives to pay their respects, the monkey turned up and sat near the feet of the old man with folded hands as if paying homage. It even went up to the man's face and appeared to plant a peck on his cheek. Videos of the incident has now gone viral on social media.
