Prakash Raj unhappy with Sudeep’s BJP move

Bengaluru:
Movie actor Prakash Raj expressed disappointment about fellow Kannadiga film star Kiccha Sudeep as the latter declared that he would campaign for Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and other BJP leaders. “Dear Sudeep, as an artist loved by everyone one, I had expected you to be a voice of the people but you have chosen to colour yourself with a political party. Well, get ready to answer every question a citizen will ask you and your party. @KicchaSudeep #justasking,” Prakash tweeted.
In a press conference attended by Bommai and State Health Minister K Sudhakar, Sudeep had said: “I was under no compulsion to come here. I haven’t come here for a platform or money. I have come here for a person. I have high regard for CM Mama (Bommai). This is the reason as to why I am announcing that I am giving my full support to Bommai.” On being questioned whether he agrees with the BJP’s ideology, Sudeep said he was in agreement with some of the decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To this Prakash Raj told ANI that he had been “shocked” by Sudeep’s statement.
