Board exams for class V and VIII students
NT Correspondent
Bengaluru: The Department of School Education has announced that from the academic year 2023-24, every year, the board exams will be conducted for 5th and 8th-grade students in all government, aided, and unaided schools across Karnataka.
The decision was taken after last year's turmoil created when the department postponed the exams for these grades at the end of the academic year. According to the recently published syllabus, the Karnataka School Examination Board (KSEEB) will conduct annual exams for 10th and 12th-grade students and will provide question papers for 5th and 8th-grade students.
The question papers will be prepared based on the model papers and schools will conduct exams for their students based on these question papers.
