
Special trains to TN extended till April end

Bengaluru: South Western Railway (SWR) has extended special train services between Bengaluru and Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu for two trips to clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer vacations.
Earlier, the plan was to operate the trains until April 15 but it has now been extended up to April 29. The two trains are the Krantiveer Sangoli Rayanna (KSR) Bengaluru to Velankanni Weekly Summer Special Express and another one in the opposite direction.
The special train is slated to leave the Majestic railway station on Saturday at 7:50 am and reach Velankanni at 8:30 pm on the very same day. In the return direction, the train would depart from Velankanni at 11:55 pm on Sunday and arrive in Bengaluru at 12:30 pm on the next day
