Another BJP leader joins Congress ahead of elections

Bengaluru: HM Revenna, former minister and a BJP leader is the latest to join the Congress, the grand old party, ahead of the Assembly elections. His indictment in the party happened in the presence of KPCC President DK Shivakumar.

It is to be noted that the development comes after DK Shivakumar recently said that several BJP leaders are waiting to join the party and it is evidence to show that the voice of the people of the state is in favour of the Congress, adding the party’s march was on the right track.

Members of Doddaballapur Municipal Council and many others left the BJP and joined the Congress in the presence of Shivakumar. MLA Venkataramaniah and ex-corporation member Laggare Narayanaswamy were also present on the occasion.
