Thiruvananthapuram- Bengaluru special train to clear rush

Bengaluru: Souther n Railway has decided to run a weekly special train between Kochuveli railway station in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal in Bengaluru starting this Tuesday.

There will be ten trips in each direction lasting till nearly the end of June so as to clear the summer vacation rush, SR clarified. The train will depart from Kochuveli at 06:05 pm starting this Tuesday till June 27 and arrive at the Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 10:55 am on Wednesday.

In the return direction, the train will leave the Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 12:45 pm starting this Wednesday till June 28 and reach Kochuveli at 6 am on Thursday. This special train will have 20 coaches and the fare will be 1.3 times the regular charge.
