Bengaluru: While the roadshow conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bengaluru on Saturday caused inconvenience and frustration to many residents of the city, there were others who thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Supporters and followers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were ecstatic to see the PM in person, and they turned out in large numbers to catch a glimpse of him. Many people took to social media to express their enthusiasm and joy, with some even describing the event as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Despite the criticism from some quarters, the roadshow was a resounding success for the BJP, with the party being able to mobilise a massive event and showcase its strength in the city. Vidit, a resident of NR Colony, shared his experience of the event, stating that despite the heavy crowds, there were many police officials and cadres managing the crowd effectively. He added that the streets were flooded with officials and supporters showing their support to the Prime Minister.
The traffic was also quickly cleared by the traffic police officials present on the scene. Another supporter who had gathered among thousands of others at South End Circle expressed his excitement at seeing the PM up close. People were seen enjoying themselves by throwing flowers at the PM.
A person wearing a saffron sash distributed flowers to those around him, expressing his joy and gratitude, stating that “Modi ji had done so much for him and the country, and getting flowers was the least” he could do. The roadshow proved to be an exhilarating experience for many of the PM's supporters, who were thrilled to be a part of the historic event.
