Bengaluru: Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar lashed out at a Big Boss contestant over his recent remarks on social media about his joining the campaign with the Congress party for the upcoming state assembly elections. The controversy raked up after Prashant Sambargi, a contestant from a tv show, allegedly shared a controversial remark on actor Shiva Rajkumar on Facebook recently.

"Shivanna never asked for a script. But payment is very important. He will make the movie as agreed. Our Shivanna is a very emotional person. He doesn’t care if his movie flops. He will sign another film after taking the payment again. The same formula has been followed in politics. Whether the candidate wins or loses, it’s all the same. If he gets a packet, then it’s right", the post read.

Reacting to the post, actor Shivanna said, "Such words cannot be tolerated. He should take back his remarks immediately. Don’t I have money? This is wrong. I have never worked for money. Such words do not suit this person," he said.

Shiva Rajkumar on Sunday said that he had joined the campaign as an individual and not for any gains. "I came here for the love and trust that they have reposed in me, not to criticise anybody else. I spoke only about Jagadish Shettar. Did I speak about any other person here? Why should I get trolled? People should not think from their brain, they should listen to their heart. I follow my heart," he said.

Many people opposed Prashant Sambargi’s post and some have even objected to his comments. To this, Prashant posted another comment that those who comment against him will be deleted and dumped in the dustbin.
