IT raid on house belonging to SM Krishna's sister

Bengaluru: The sleuths of the income tax department, who are keeping an eye on the illegally collected money allegedly for the upcoming Assembly elections, continued their raids for the second day in Karnataka on Sunday.

According to sources in Bengaluru, a team of IT officials raided the house of former Chief Minister SM Krishna's sister SM Sunita's residence in Koramangala on Sunday. The IT officials reportedly verified several documents at SM Sunita's house named 'Bagmane' here and also procured others for inspection.

Similarly, a search was conducted at the Trans Insignia apartment which is said to be owned by the SM Sunita's family. Houses and residences of other leaders and officials are also being raided based on credible information across the state.
