Bengaluru: Recently, commuting in the city has become no less than a nightmare. This is because of monsoon-induced traffic jams. While some motorists tend to lose their cool while handling a dicey moment, others tickle your funny bone, going to the extent of sharing videos in which someone has made light of their situation.

A recent video clip has gone viral on several social media platforms featuring a Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus driver devouring his lunch after being stuck in congestion traffic near the Silk Board junction here. The surprising part is that the bus driver finished his entire meal while the traffic remained stationary. The video was first posted on Instagram by a user named Sri Chand Bayyavarapu with the caption: "Peak traffic moment in Bengaluru”.

Finding the clip extremely relatable, netizens have empathised with the driver's helpless situation and came up with some witty and hilarious comments. A user commented: "No worries. He can have a nap as well. Traffic not moving any time soon.” Most users praised the city bus drivers for their “struggles while battling such congestion every day”.

"Having a meal is still ok, but what about answering nature’s call? The struggle of bus drivers and conductors is real. Huge respect to all those people out there," is another user’s comment on the video. A few days ago, the picture of a woman working on a laptop while waiting in city traffic had gone viral.
