KSRTC ticket booking system crashes, users face payment issues

Bengaluru: Several netizens in Karnataka were irked after the ticket booking mobile application and website of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) crashed. Some people, who were trying to book tickets, claimed that the portals were down since Thursday, June 16.
One Twitter user, Abhijith expressed his opinion stating, “@KSRTC_Journeys app and web is down from yesterday. Can this be fixed @CMofKarnataka” Another user Sathya Prasad tweeted, “@ KSRTC_Journeys I'm unable to book tickets since yesterday, money has been deducted once but the seat hasn't been confirmed. What's the issue?” KSRTC responded, “Due to technical issues, unable to access ksrtc.in. Please try after some time. We regret the inconvenience caused.”
Several users have reported an issue during the booking process where money is deducted from their bank accounts, but the booking confirmation is not received. One user tweeted, “@ CMofKarnataka @KSRTC_ Journeys Major problem in KSRTC website and app. Tickets are not getting booked but money is deducted. It's turning out to be a bad experience and tough time for those who have already booked and want to change their plans.”
The KSRTC responded to tweets such as this stating, “If amount debited, the same will be refunded within 5-7 bank working days. Due to technical issues, unable to access ksrtc.in. Please try after some time. We regret the inconvenience caused.”
