Video of pre-school kids: Parents in shock

Bengaluru: The CCTV footage of a group of toddlers being left unattended at a pre-school and one of them repeatedly hitting another has sparked outrage among parents in the city, prompting the police to take action against the school management. In the footage, a group of toddlers is seen inside a room with toys and other playthings strewn about.

A woman wearing a blue saree is seen standing near the door. A few seconds into the video, the woman takes one of the kids outside the room, leaving the rest unattended. Then, one of the kids in the room starts hitting another kid.

This goes on for several moments with no caretaker to intervene. The video was shared by a Twitter account called Citizens Movement East Bengaluru. In a later post, the handle named Tenderfoot in Chikkalasandra as the pre-school where the incident took place.

"We received a disturbing video of a preschool where toddlers are left unattended in a closed room. A senior kid is seen hitting a younger kid repeatedly. The school's name is Tenderfoot, Chikkalasandra, Bengaluru- 560061. Please don't send your kid there!" the handle said in its tweet.

The Bengaluru Police took note of the social media post and said that the relevant police station has been asked to look into the matter. "Your complaint has been forwarded to the police inspector of Subramanyapura Police Station for necessary action," the Bengaluru Police said. Further probe is underway
